Message from the Vice Chancellor

"The world has moved towards a knowledge based economy. This therefore means IUM has to find innovative ways of tapping into the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) revolution.

The challenge we face is to prepare our people thoroughly. Africa will only be self sufficient once the entire continent realizes that our future does not only lie in developing our natural resources but also in the strengthening of our human resources.
To support our initiatives is to strengthen Africa , and to make her part of the global village. The quality of life remains our important and immediate task. We cannot disengage until this very noble task is achieved.

In conclusion, I invite all of you to share our sacred vision of imparting knowledge to our people. "
