The IUM Endowment Trust

The International University Management Endowment Trust (IUMET) was established on 14 July 2008 with the main objective of raising funds for the construction of the new campus and carrying out empirical research.

The first fund raising function at which the former President Dr. Sam Nujoma was the keynote speaker was held on 19 November 2008 and raised more than N$460 000 in cash and pledges.

The Trust is registered with the Namibian Ministry of Justice, under the Master of the High Court, registration no: T217/08. The members of the board of trustees are;

•  Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun (Chairperson)

•  Yul Campher (Deputy Chairperson)

•  Sabine Renate Halberstadt

•  Iyaloo Ya Nangolo

•  Erentia Tromp

The trustees are vested with powers to deal with the trust fund in a way they deem necessary to best administer the said fund for the benefit of the beneficiaries. They also keep a proper set of books recording the affairs of the trust.
