IUM to get funding from Germany

The International University of Management has finalised talks with the German Tax Authorities which will see it receiving funding in the foreseeable future. Donations from German Nationals will now be deducted from their income tax. This comes as various organisations have pledged funding for the fast growing Namibian institute of higher learning. Commenting on this issue Dr D. Namwandi , the University Vice Chancellor expressed his gratitude to the German nationals for their motion and thanked them as this would strengthen the University in its quest for higher standards.

This comes amid the development and subsequent implementation of the Intergrated Management System for the University which will see the IUM establish itself as a true global hub for management science and information technology. Part of the funding will also be used in the inplementation of the system which will result in a modern day electronic learning environment for the IUM students.
